Am so excited to be organising and hosting this trip! Join us for a laid-back day exploring two lovely towns. Very solo-friendly, welcoming group, and a great way to get out, socialise and explore without pressure.

Hitchin Lavender is one of the UK’s most iconic purple fields, famous for its stunning rows of fragrant lavender and beautiful photo opportunities. In season (especially mid-June), the fields are alive with colour and open for relaxed walks, picnics, and boutique shopping — including artisanal lavender products like oils, candles, soaps and more. It’s a perfect spot to enjoy the outdoors, take photos, and soak up the summer atmosphere.

St Albans is a historic city with Roman roots and a vibrant town centre full of character. Highlights include St Albans Cathedral — one of the oldest sites of continuous Christian worship in Britain — scenic Verulamium Park with Roman ruins, and a bustling high street of independent shops, cafés and eateries. It’s a lovely place to explore on foot, grab lunch, and discover local culture at your own pace.
