Join us for a truly special early morning experience celebrating the dawn chorus, the incredible burst of birdsong that signals the start of a new day and the arrival of the bird breeding season. As the reserve slowly wakes, our Habitats & Estates Team Leader, Belinda Lloyd, will guide you through the sounds of spring, explaining why birds sing in the morning and helping you identify different species by their songs as they echo across the landscape.
This is a calm and immersive way to connect with nature at its most alive, and absolutely worth the early alarm.
After the chorus fades, head to our welcoming coffee shop to warm up and refuel with a freshly made bacon or egg bap, followed by a hot drink. Food and one hot drink are included in the ticket price, making this the perfect end to a memorable morning surrounded by nature.
Please note that dogs are not allowed at this event in order to minimise disturbance to wildlife during the breeding season.
