About this Event
Start your day with a breath of fresh air and by connecting to nature. Join Sam, our Reserves Officer, for a peaceful early morning walk through Cassiobury Park, a wildlife haven nestled in the heart of bustling Watford.
As the morning breaks, enjoy the relaxing sounds of the local birds and other wildlife too. As you walk, you'll have the chance to identify a variety of bird species and learn about their unique songs.
It’s the perfect opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and embrace the serenity of nature before the world wakes up.
The walk will be approximately 1 hour and may cover muddy and uneven ground. Please make sure you have appropriate footwear and layers.
This event is weather dependent and may need to be cancelled at short notice.
Watford Borough Council is working in partnership with Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust to improve the value of Cassiobury Park LNR and Whippendell Wood SSSI for wildlife and people.
