Denver Activist Women’s Group has stormed on to the Denver advocacy scene bringing new blood to local advocacy. Let’s intro them to YIMBY!About this Event
In less than two years the Denver Activist Women's Group has attracted over 1,450 members and is poised to become a growing force in local politics. For many of these young women, DAWG has been a pathway to get involved in local politics for the first time in Denver. DAWG has advocated on issues as diverse as immigration, community health and how to get involved in protests, while at the same time creating a vibrant community of like minded women.
At this event, we'll introduce DAWG to YIMBY Denver and what they are all about, and get to know each other over drinks and light bites.
