Come early to enjoy the park and grab your spot before the show starts. Food and beverage vendors will be onsite. Lawn chairs, blankets, coolers, and picnics are welcome.
5:30 - 6:00 PM | MISSISSIPPI HOT CLUB
Mississippi Hot Club showcases the distinct style of music pioneered by maestro guitarist Django Reinhardt during the 1930s and 40s in Paris, France. This hot club is an all-string jazz ensemble with la pompe rhythm guitar, upright bass, and the likely improvisation of a solo guitar and violin. Staying true to the 1930s hot club sound, the band also adds a healthy spread of modern twists. Follow them on Instagram and Facebook @mississippihotclub.

Davina & the Vagabonds is a Twin Cities-based jazz blues band led by powerhouse vocalist and pianist Davina Sowers, known for blending early 20th-century blues and jazz with a bold, modern edge. ABOUT FORWARD PARK CONCERTS
These free, Wednesday evening concerts highlight local bands and regional headliners. Concerts are held in six different walkable, pet-friendly, and bike trail connected parks - one in each city ward. The music starts at 5:30 PM and wraps up at 7:45 PM. Every FORWARD concert includes the Rochester Public Library's Bookmobile, the Parks & Recreation Mobile Rec Trailer, and the Art Stop, a free creative activity led by local artists. Everyone is welcome! No registration is required.
CART captioning is available at every FORWARD concert, providing real-time captions viewable from your smartphone or tablet via QR codes in the park.
