Applied Suicide Intervention Skills (ASIST)

Learn to provide suicide first aid. ASIST is a best practice in suicide prevention where participants learn to intervene and help prevent the immediate risk of suicide. Studies have proven that the ASIST method helps reduce suicidal feelings for those at risk. This is a two-day, 16 hour interactive workshop. This class has been approved by the Board of Social Work to provide 12 CEU’s upon completion (fee applies.) This class meets the continuing education requirement for teachers.

Coffee and lunch will be provided each day! Parking is available onsite.

NAMI Minnesota reserves the right to cancel any event, conference, or class due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. If there is a cancellation, participants will be notified by telephone and/or email as soon as possible. We will make reasonable efforts to reschedule.
