Faroese comedian David Valley takes you on a deeply serious journey through the history, culture, and personal stories of one of the smallest and most overlooked nations in the world. This is not comedy. This is a 100% academic exploration of the Faroese past, featuring no jokes whatsoever, only important facts you never asked for and will definitely forget right after the show (and that's perfectly fine).
After selling out twice at the 2025 Reykjavík Fringe Festival and performing across Iceland, the Faroe Islands, and Estonia, the show now arrives in Copenhagen. It is a bold move for a nation still recovering from centuries of Danish supervision.
Expect a detailed, thoroughly researched presentation covering everything from Viking history to modern Faroese identity, all delivered with the straight-faced sincerity of a man who just wants his country to be taken seriously for once.
