David Twigg, P. Eng is a senior Metallurgical Engineer and Non Destructive Technician with Glencor Engineering Limited with over 30 years experience in Non Destructive Testing. A registered Professional Engineer in Ontario and Manitoba, Mr. Twigg graduated from Queen's University with BSc in Applied Science in 2000 and worked several years in the mining and processing industry in northern Canada before returning to Ottawa and joining a small metallurgical engineering company specializing in corrosion, failure analysis and non destructive testing. He has over 25 years experience in failure analysis, inspection, quality assurance and vendor surveillance with Glencor across a wide range of industries including power generation, transportation, chemical/petrochemical, pulp and paper, manufacturing, and government utilities. He is also a CGSB certified inspector in magnetic particle, liquid penetrant and ultrasonics and has given presentations to the Association for Materials Protection and Performance, the Institute of Power Engineers, divisions of the Government of Canada, and various engineering firms, concerning non-destructive inspection and failure analysis.
