We are thrilled to welcome back master glass artist David Patchen for a stunning new solo exhibition this season. Known for his vibrant color, intricate patterns, and technical mastery, Patchen creates breathtaking sculptural vessels using traditional Venetian techniques such as canework and murrini.
A former musician turned full-time artist, Patchen trained at the prestigious Pilchuck Glass School and has exhibited internationally. He has held an Artist in Residence position in Seto City, Japan, and studied with renowned Murano maestro Afro Celotto. Based in San Francisco, Patchen is also deeply involved in the glass arts community as Chairman Emeritus of Public Glass.
This exhibition showcases Patchen’s newest work—complex, luminous forms that are both meditative and bold. Don’t miss this chance to experience the remarkable craftsmanship and creative vision of one of contemporary glass art’s leading figures.
