Flamencodanser David Coria komt in Amsterdam weer een workshop te geven.
Aficionados kunnen hier zin geweldige lessen volgen van deze prachtige danser, geweldig docent en innemend persoon.
Elk jaar tijdens het Festival van Jerez, presenteert hij zijn alom geprezen optredens en workshops.
DAVID CORIA ontving de prijs voor de beste danser en choreograaf en heeft met zijn geprezen choreografieën, reeds een indrukwekkend aantal optredens op zijn naam staan. Met dansers als Ana Morales e.a. vooraanstaande artiesten en gezelschappen.
Zijn genomineerde productie 'FANDANGO' met o.a. rising star danseres Paula Comitre en zanger David Lagos was te zien in Parijs, nov 2021. Februari 2022 stond 'HUMANO' in het beroemde Theatre de la Danse CHAILLOT- Parijs. September 2022 was hij te zien tijdens de Flamenco Bienal 2022 van Sevilla.
Currently, he leads his own artistic company with several active shows on the international stage: "Imperfecto," alongside French artist Jann Gallois, and "Los Recently David Coria presented this production for the Flamenco Biënnale Netherlands.

Na inschrijving, het lesgeld over te maken tot een week vooraf aan de workshop,
vanaf 7 dagen vooraf, alleen nog contante betaling mogelijk, vóór aanvang van de 1e les.
Inschrijving voor de workshop is bindend, er wordt van je verwacht dat je dan ook komt en de betaling voldoet.
Restitutie van lesgeld bij workshops van artiesten uit Spanje is niet mogelijk. Annulering is bij uitzondering mogelijk tot 6 weken vooraf aan de workshop.
Bij interesse aub Uw spoedige inschrijving, om te kunnen bepalen, dat de workshop door kan gaan en t ticket op tijd te kopen.
Een groep gaat door bij 10 aanmeldingen. Maximaal 15 deelnemers per groep / niveau.

DAVID CORIA (Sevilla, 1983)
ENGLISH David Coria (Seville, Spain) has emerged as a prominent figure in the contemporary flamenco dance scene.
His innovative approach to choreography, aesthetic creativity, and dedication to the art distinguish him as a notable choreographer in today's landscape.
In his dance and stage creations, traces of renowned choreographers he has collaborated with, such as Antonio Gades, Pilar López, and José Granero, are evident, as well as influences from his experiences in companies like those of Rocío Molina, Eva Yerbabuena, and the National Ballet of Spain.
This background led to his appointment as the principal dancer, rehearsal director, and choreographer of the Andalusian Flamenco Ballet from 2013 to 2016.

"Anónimo" was awarded the Audience Special Prize at the 2019 Jerez Festival, and "Fandango!", staged in January 2020 at the Théâtre National de Chaillot, received the Specialized Critics' Prize at the 2020 Jerez Festival, along with the Giraldillo Award for Best Show at the Seville Flamenco Biennial of the same year.
He has also received other distinctions such as Dancer of the Year by the German magazine "Tanz" and the Lorca Award from the Andalusian Theater as Best Male Dance Performer in 2016.
Currently, he leads his own artistic company with several active shows on the international stage: "Imperfecto," alongside French artist Jann Gallois, and "Los Bailes Robados," recently premiered at the Cannes Dance Festival and on the Festival of Jerez 2024.

Su enfoque innovador en la coreografía, su creatividad estética y su compromiso con el arte lo distinguen como un notable coreógrafo del panorama actual.
En su danza y en su creación escénica se vislumbran las huellas de destacados coreógrafos con los que ha trabajado como Antonio Gades, Pilar López y José Granero, así como por su experiencia en compañías como las de Rocío Molina, Eva Yerbabuena y el Ballet Nacional de España, lo que le valió ser designado como primer bailarín, repetidor y coreógrafo del Ballet Flamenco de Andalucía de 2013 a 2016.
Su reputación se ha consolidado con el éxito de crítica y público de sus obras. “Anónimo”, fue galardonada con el Premio Especial del Público en el Festival de Jerez de 2019 y ¡Fandango!, obra escénica estrenada en enero de 2020 en el Théâtre National de Chaillot, con el Premio de la Crítica Especializada del Festival de Jerez 2020, más el Premio Giraldillo al Mejor Espectáculo en la Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla de ese mismo año.
