Reunited for two NZ shows full of laughter, loops, beautiful harmonies, some more laughter, and some sizzling guitar and fiddle playing, please welcome back - David and Shimna!
Fresh off the plane from touring in the UK and Europe in Rhythm of the Dance, Shimna is excited to be back for Pop-up Globe in Auckland plus two David & Shimna shows (Tauranga & Auckland), before flying on to China to continue touring with Rhythm of the Dance.
David has been collaborating with various artists songwriting since his last tour in November, & performing non-stop over summer honing his live looping act. Recording begins for his new album in April.
Together they’ll be playing some fan favourites plus a few new tunes, and you can expect some side splitting laughter throughout the evening as well.
The pair have performed at the Illawarra Folk Festival in Australia, were crowd favourites at Revive Festival and the ASB Tennis Classic in New Zealand, and last toured New Zealand in 2021. The combined harmonies from the duo, live looping, plus a superb ability on their instruments as well as engaging the crowd make for a captivating show not to be missed!
