Thanks to Activate Darwin and the Darwin Galleria, experience the exhibition in the heart of Darwin CBD! The Darwin DiverCity Exhibition will be free entry, for one week only, showcasing four years of work during this project. With 48 portraits along with their stories, read about each person’s journey to the Top End, their triumphs and what makes them unique. The Darwin DiverCity Series celebrates what it means to be a Territorian, and what makes us special with a range of backgrounds, cultures, life experiences and quirks.The Darwin DiverCity Series was created by Georgia Politis in 2020, initially as a promotion to celebrate diversity. After just two sessions, the series was quickly changed to a free passion project which has achieved over 50 free sessions since June 2020. Series one has now closed, with articles and a following Australia wide!
The Darwin DiverCity Series Grand Opening will be on Friday, August 9th 2024 between 5.30pm and 7.00pm. Come and meet the people in the series, along with the creator and photographer, Georgia Politis.
The Darwin Galleria is situated closely within the West Lane Carpark, leaving parking an easy and close location within the exhibition.

Tuesday August 13th - 10.00am - 2.30pm

The Darwin DiverCity Series book will be available to purchase at the exhibition. Please contact Georgia Politis Photography if you wish to purchase, as staffed hours may differ to the opening hours above.
The Darwin DiverCity Book has sold over 50 copies, with just under 50 left for the first release. Books are printed locally in Darwin, as well as all prints. The books can be purchased at $50 each inc GST.
