About this Event
Held on Larrakia land, the Telstra NATSIAA Awards Ceremony celebrates the artistic practices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists. This year’s Awards Ceremony and Opening night celebrates 41 years of continued exhibitions showcasing artists and cultures from across the nation.
With a focus on women in performance, the Ceremony sees a stellar line up of talented Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists from across the country grace the stage.
Settle in on the MAGNT lawns for the announcement of the 2024 winners and be entertained by world class performances from music royalty such as:
• Shellie Morris
• Emily Wurramara
• Ursula Yovich
• Arrkula Yimbayarra (Borroloola Song Women)
• and MC Megan Waters
Watch the sunset and immerse yourself in a night of live performance on the picturesque MAGNT lawns. Bring a picnic rug and hamper, or purchase something to eat and drink at the Food Village, which will include a licensed bar
Awards Ceremony Bring your picnic rug and set up from 6pm, Ceremony will begin at sunset.
Exhibition Opens to the public after the Awards Ceremony until 10pm

Key Information
This event involves sitting on the ground on picnic rugs or cushions you supply.
If you are not comfortable sitting on the ground, please bring a low-to-the-ground folding chair and be mindful of the sight lines of others.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
