About this Event
Experience an evening of music from Dark Imagining, the third album by New York composer Jeff Myers. This program features a selection of songs that explore beauty, darkness, and transformation, drawing on texts ranging from the gothic worlds of Poe and Baudelaire to the intimate poetry of Jennifer de Guzman's "Boy" and the luminous imagery of Hawaiian lore.
Soprano Rachel Schutz and pianist Andrea Christie bring these evocative works to life, with cellist Christopher Gross featured in The Hula Pa-Ipu.
Each $20 ticket includes a CD of the album.
Kids under 12 are free.
Join us after the concert for a short reception and the chance to connect with the artists!
