The Dark Dance 90's night! All the glory that was the 90's crammed into an hour! That's right, come along and get into a flash back with singing and dancing in total darkness. Expect a huge dance floor, big sound, and a mass assembly of the best and worst hair Auckland has to offer.We take a step back from our dance focused event for this decadent and special night. Will there be singing? Yes. Will there be 90's jams? Yes. Will it be amazing? YES! We'll be laying out famous tracks so you can sing at the top of your lungs.
Please arrive before 7:30pm as we LOCK the doors as the first tune drops.
Dance is centrally located, but that doesn’t mean you can’t forget the world for an hour or two at your weeknight escape.
With a big sound system and resident DJ sets that are eclectically designed to have you jumping, dancing, singing, and living your best life, we are the best thing to ever happen to a Monday. Big music, big energy, no alcohol, no lights. That’s right it’s the party, event, rave, gig, that you need in the dark.
Do something for yourself and come and dance with no inhibitions, put a little party into your Monday, and kick the week off right while we kick out the jams. We are a no alcohol event so there is no hangover to deal with, just bring your water bottle and what ever clothes you like to move in.
Dark Dance is total dance freedom in total darkness. No bar, no lights, big sound and the wildest tunes you'll hear all week, every week.
What to bring:

- $10 cash or your multi-trip card
- A minimum of belongings and no valuables
- No drugs or alcohol
- A big smile
This event is in DARKNESS but we do not tolerate creepy behavior. Creeps stay home! If you're worried about the way someone is acting please report this to our crew - your safety and enjoyment is our top priority. We always bring a first aid kit but we've never used it!
All are welcome but we ask that you are over 16 if come along and attend the event because we don't sensor songs for the kids.
Please make sure you arrive ten minutes before the session time to avoid being locked out; the doors automatically lock when they close and we can't hear knocking once the music starts.
From time to time we reach capacity and can't fit everyone in, so please arrive on time with everyone you are planning to party with to avoid disappointment.
