Sunday 28th September we will be going on the dark ale trail organised by Forth Valley CAMRA to see pubs in the area and seek out some dark ales seeing as the summer is pretty much coming to an end and that autumnal weather approaches. We are looking for numbers to potentially get a group booking discount on the train to help towards costs for the day out.
We plan to get the train at 1246 at GLASGOW QUEEN STREET STATION to DUNBLANE and we ask that you meet as a group at the ticket office next to the Dundas Street entrance to the station.
What is on the trail might you ask?
Well here it is!
Dunblane - Tappit Hen + Village Inn
Bridge Of Allan - Allanwater Brewhouse
Stirling - Settle Inn + No.2 Baker Street + Nicky Tams
Larbert - Station Hotel
Falkirk - Wheatsheaf Inn + The Carron Works
Linlitgow - Platform 3 + Four Mary's.
We haven't a strict schedule as we will go with the flow on the day. People are free to join in at any point and also enjoy the trail on the other days of the weekend.
Renfrewshire CAMRA and Ayrshire & Wigtownshire CAMRA are most welcome to join for the train journey.
