Feel the beat of Glasgow’s vibrant music scene with this entertaining, short guided walking tour of Sauchiehall Street delivered by Glasgow Music City Tours.
This 30 minute tour is a whistle-stop guide around the past and present of Sauchiehall Street from the late, lamented ABC to the Garage nightclub, taking in tales of the many successful bands who started out on Sauchiehall Street.
Join us as we explore a neighbourhood rich in both musical myths and scuzzy backroom stages where the next generation of guitar heroes are paying their dues.
This is a short lunchtime walk, designed to get office workers away from their desks and learning what makes Glasgow’s music scene tick.
Please meet on Sauchiehall Street on the pedestrian intersection with Cambridge Street (by Greggs and Costa). This tour is scheduled to be 30 minutes - 45 minutes max.
