Madhura has been dedicated to her yogic journey for over 18 years, specialising in yoga teacher training. Growing up in an Indian Hindu family, she was immersed in yoga philosophy, Eastern psychology, Ayurveda and mantra chanting from a young age. Her passion is to deliver authentic Yoga and Ayurveda education in a way that suits modern lifestyles while preserving the integrity of traditional teachings.
With extensive experience as a director, course curator and educator for 200 and 300-hour YTTCs, Madhura is a highly respected trainer of yoga teachers. Her classes seamlessly blend contemplation with physical challenge, offering long-held asanas, precise alignments, and a dynamic mix of movement, breathwork, chanting and philosophical discussion. Her teaching style is insightful, inspiring and progressive, reflecting her deep passion for yoga traditions and her profound connection with students.
Madhura's work focuses on empowering students with tools to develop embodied awareness, helping them navigate and release internal blocks, embrace discomfort with compassion, and cultivate resilience. In addition to being a yoga teacher, she is a yoga therapist and Ayurveda consultant, primarily working with women's health and well-being.
