Why This Class?
Casual_Switch, with nearly 8 years of Shibari experience, has been helping run rope classes for 6 years as well as organising local events such as munches, conferences, and educational sessions.
Additionally, casual_switch brings over 8 years of teaching experience in other fields.
The goal is to provide a safe and affordable space for newcomers to learn rope bondage. The class emphasizes that both riggers and bunnies should master the basics to fully explore this beautiful art form.
What You Need?
- Around 3 lengths of natural fiber rope, each 8 meters long is recommended.
- Rope shears (available for purchase if you don’t have any).
- We will have rope available to lend out on the day.
- A selection of @Casual_Rope dyed rope will be for sale.
This Class Contains:
- Single column, non-tightening- Joining rope
- Futomomo
- Natural anchor points
- Pentagram and the basics of building a chest harness
- Full-body ties
- How to build and keep tension
- Reverse tension
- Rope safety
- Free tie time if time permits
Extra Notes:
- If you have a yoga mat, we recommend bringing it.
- Bringing snacks and water is recommended.
- Please dress appropriately for the event; think gym clothes, nothing formal or baggy that can get caught up in the rope.
- You don’t need to come with a partner; you can pair up at the class when required.
All participants will be required to tie and be tied.
