What is Dance of Universal Peace?Dance of Universal Peace is a simple group practice combining gentle circle dances, live music and the singing of mantras from different spiritual traditions around the world.
The dances are meditative and joyful, focusing on embodied presence, unity and connection. Movements and songs are simple, repetitive and taught step by step, making the practice accessible to everyone, even if you have never danced or sung before.
Who is this for?
This event is open to anyone curious about movement, music and community. No previous experience is needed.
What can you expect?
• A short introduction to the practice
• Learning each song and movement together
• Guided circle dances with guitar
You are welcome to join for as many dances as you wish.
Time
We plan to begin dancing at 15:00.
Organizors
The event is organized by Anne-Marie and Katrina.
Anne-Marie will play guitar, and Katrina will guide the dances. Katrina has practiced Dance of Universal Peace in the UK.
