About this Event
Step into a space where movement meets meaning. Dance of the Self is a contemporary belly dance experience designed to help you reconnect with your body, honour your emotions, and remember your worth. Through gentle guidance, expressive dance, and grounding practices, we’ll explore how movement can become a form of healing and empowerment. This isn’t about performing or perfection — it’s about presence. It’s about coming home to yourself, through rhythm, emotion, and flow.
What to Expect: Guided grounding and breathwork to settle into the body Contemporary belly dance sequences for self-expression and release Reflection and intention-setting for emotional clarity A supportive, non-judgmental atmosphere Closing circle to integrate and connect Whether you’re a dancer, seeker, or simply curious, this workshop invites you to explore movement as medicine — a way to realign with your spirit and your worth.
This is an open-level class. You don’t need any dance or fitness background — just curiosity and a willingness to explore.
Bring: Comfortable clothes you can move in, water bottle, journal, and an open heart Optional: Scarf or hip belt if you like — not required
