The first of two BBC New Generation Artist string quartets to join us this winter, Kleio Quartet give the world premiere performance of a work co-commissioned by BBC Radio 3 and the Henry Barber Trust by Mark Antony Turnage. This all-female quartet have gained an international reputation on both the concert platform and in competitions and have recently been appointed as the resident quartet at the Royal Northern College of Music’s String Quartet Studio – helping to develop student talent and share their passion.
Please arrive in good time as this concert is recorded live and latecomers will not be admitted. Doors open at 12.30pm.
