The world's biggest one day dance event in the world returns to the streets on May 17, 2025 for its 19th year! Presenting over 10,000 dancers from 100 unique styles! Dance Parade starts at noon on 17th Street and Sixth Avenue, swings east to 8th Street through our Grand Stand in Astor Place and finishes at Tompkins Square Park.
DanceFest in the park follows the parade from 3-7pm. See over 70 performances on the Main and Community Stages in the world's most diverse presentation of the diversity of dance. Over 20 site specific performances are scheduled to surprise and entertain festival goers. And don't miss FREE classes across the street at the Joyce Theater's New York Center for Creativity & Dance in all five studios!
