Take time for yourself, be in your body & connect with new people in FREE monthly facilitated dance & conversation sessions.
Dates: Sunday 29 September, Sunday 27 October & Sunday 24 November 2024
Times: 2pm-5pm
Location: Key Theatre (September & October) Thomas Deacon Academy (November)
Series of three movement-based sessions led by dance artist Kate Marsh. The sessions will mostly include improvisation exercises and focus on using our bodies and minds to feel present, tell our stories, and discover how best to go forward.
The movement sections will be mostly improvisation-based, so you can choose how much you move your body. During these moments of dance, the artist will offer movement ideas and exercises for you to follow, however, this is a time for you to connect with your body, so you can participate as much or as little as you like.
What to bring:
Comfortable clothing and a water bottle.
