About Us
Welcome to The Memory Club and Café, a sanctuary for compassion, companionship, and community. Established with the heartfelt mission of creating a supportive environment for those navigating the challenges of memory loss and neurodegenerative conditions, we are more than just a meeting place—we're a lifeline for many who seek support.
Our Philosophy
We believe that no one should go through the journey of memory loss or caring for someone with a neurodegenerative condition alone. The Memory Club and Café aims to offer a ray of hope and a circle of friendship that can make this journey a bit more comfortable for everyone involved.
What We Offer
We meet every week to provide a multifaceted approach to support:
Peer Support Group: Individuals can openly discuss their fears, challenges, and triumphs, always knowing they are in a judgment-free and supportive environment.
Activities & Exercises: We feature activities designed to stimulate the mind and body —everything from puzzles, singing, games and crafts to light exercise and discussions.
Entertainment and Social Activities: To lift spirits and create lasting memories, we host musical performances, storytelling sessions, and even outings. Laughter and camaraderie are our favourite tools in the fight against isolation.
Resource Sharing: Information is power. We offer various resources to keep you informed about the latest research, coping strategies, and available medical options.
Who We Serve
Individuals concerned about memory-related issues
People living with neurodegenerative conditions
Caregivers, family members, and friends in need of support
Why Join Us?
The Memory Club and Café is more than just a community group—it’s a family. As you join hands with us, you join a circle of individuals who understand your concerns, share your burdens, and celebrate your small victories.
Come, be a part of The Memory Club and Café. Together, let's create a network of support, education, and love that outlasts the challenges we face.
