About this Event

TAKE MONDAY OFF…

Because Jacq Jill and Flotussin are joining Dance Club for the Sunday night closing party of Mallory weekend at DC9!

The Baltimore staples will of course be joined by your Dance Club resident DJs Baronhawk Poitier, Joyce Lim & Tommy C, plus Artemis on lights, to close out a jam-packed MAL 2025.

This year we’ll be on the second floor of DC9 from 8pm-2am, on Sunday, January 12th. Coat check provided.

Jacq Jill

The Baltimore-based selector has been a steady cultural mover in the DMV region and beyond for years. Her sets pull from grimy club sounds, joyous house, liquid sound design and punishing techno. In a word, her sound is thoroughly queer, tapping into dance music’s radical and transformative potential and leading dancers on a psychedelic dreamride. Hot off her most recent 2024 stops including Montreal, NYC, LA, and Amsterdam, Jacq Jill is ready to give all she’s got to Mallory 2025.

Flotussin

A local mainstay in the DMV’s underground rave scene, Baltimore-based Flotussin is an artist and DJ who is known for mixing an eclectic range of heavy-hitting sounds. Her buoyant sets are fluid in energy, spanning the breadth of techno, house and club. Flotussin’s work has landed her a party series in DC called Room Service as well as her monthly radio show Mood Gallery on Eaton Radio. She is also busy on the road with appearances at Elsewhere and The Lot Radio in NYC, and the Zap Outdoorz festival in West Virginia, to name a few.

ARTEMIS

Originally just another face in the crowd of warehouse partygoers, DC-based Artemis.105 is known these days for lighting designs that regularly melt brains and other bodily organs, at parties like Noxeema Jackson, Hast Du Feuer, 140+, and Friends With Benefits. He has a unique ability to transform empty space into an atmospheric experience.
