About this Event
In this class, we will do dance-focused clown exercises as well as hone physical fundamentals of clowning, like timing of gags, taking to the audience, and physical heightening.
The curriculum is tailored towards people interested in devising and performing comedy, although anyone is welcome to participate.I am a performer and writer. I teach in schools for my day job, since 2021.

First Hour: Clown-Dance Exercises
Info: This hour will be spent on getting you to loosen up your body, focus on timing, and connect with classmates.
Second Hour: Devising Exercises
Info: The second hour will be spent on more clown-specific exercises to get you to develop new material, learn and master vocabulary, and hone your physical comedy skills.
