Join us for an unforgettable Dance BootCamp experience in Copenhagen, hosted by two phenomenal instructors, Ninafrika and Mette! This exciting event promises a day full of inspiration, cultural immersion, and pure fun. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or a passionate beginner, this BootCamp is designed to elevate your skills and ignite your love for dance.

💫Event Highlights:
Four Dynamic Workshops: Dive into Bachata Tradicional and the Afro-Cuban dance style. Our expert instructors will guide you through techniques, styling, and the cultural essence of each dance. We will be an intimate group, so there is the option for a lot of guidance from the Instructors.
Pre-BootCamp Party: Kick off the weekend with a fun and energetic pre-BootCamp party on Friday night. Get to know your fellow dancers and warm up for an amazing day ahead.
Social Dance Party: After a full day of workshops, let loose and practice your new moves at our social dance party. Enjoy a night of dancing, music, and great company.

💃Meet Your Instructors:
Ninafrika @ninafrikadance
Founder of her own dance school in Cabarete, Dominican Republic, has over 12 years of teaching experience, specializing in Cuban Salsa, Bachata Tradicional, Bachata Moderna, and various African dances, including Afro-Cuban and Afro-Brazilian influences.
Her dance journey began at a young age, influenced by her Cameroonian heritage. Ninafrika received training in Salsa and Orishas in both Havana, Cuba, and Paris, France. She is skilled in LA Style On1 and New York Style On2 and teaches both Men's and Women's Styling.
Her Bachata expertise developed in France and has continued in the Dominican Republic for over a decade. Ninafrika is passionate about teaching Bachata Tradicional and has successfully run her dance school for 14 years.
Ninafrika is formally trained in numerous Latin dance styles by masters worldwide. She focuses on offering special workshops in Bachata, Rumba, and healing through Orishas across the USA, Europe, and the Dominican Republic. She looks forward to sharing her strength, love, and passion with the participants.
Mette Larsen @bachatadominicanacopenhagen
Mette started teaching solo dancing in 2006. She fell in love with Bachata and Merengue in the land of Origin in 2020. She has since then spent +7 months on the Island, diving into the culture and dance communities.
Her classes focus on social dancing, personal style, connection, non-verbal conversation, and the cultural background and musicality of the dances. She strives to make everyone feel comfortable, seen, and welcome when she includes her experience with Authentic Relating in her teaching method.
Currently, she is running Bachata Dominicana Copenhagen and took her teacher training from BachataDominicanaRD - a program approved by the Dominican Ministry of Culture.

The venue is Copenhagens only travel bar and volunteers run it. You are more than welcome to bring your food or takeaway to the place for both lunch and dinner - but all drinks should be bought at the venue, as this is how the cafe can stay open and bring free travel talks to people daily.
