Dallas's Toxic Twins Documentary

Starting with the RSR-led smelter in the 1930s, all the way to the current polluters of today, GAF and TAMKO, we will explore how, over the last hundred years, the city of Dallas has willingly supported the health deterioration of Black and Brown neighborhoods in the city.

During the documentary, you will see images and interviews, and learn about the many ways residents living in West Dallas and Joppa have been living and resisting against the toxic twins. Following the screening, you will have time to talk with residents and organizers working in both Joppa and West Dallas. You will have time to discuss how you can get involved and help their campaigns push these notorious polluters out of their communities.
