
The 19th edition of the annual Dallas International Film Festival (DIFF) will take place
April 25–May 1 2025 at Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas Victory Park. This year marks DIFF’s first as an Academy Award® Qualifying Festival following its designation by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in October.
The 2025 festival will include more than 120 screenings filmmaker Q&As panels nightly red carpets and special events. Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas Victory Park—located at 2365 Victory Park Lane near the American Airlines Center—will serve as the main venue. Additional screenings and events will take place at the AT&T Discovery District Harwood District the historic Texas Theatre Virgin Hotels Dallas (returning as Premier Sponsor for the third year) and other Dallas locations to be announced.
Highlights include the world premiere of HAPPY AS LARRY which began as a semifinalist in DIFF’s inaugural Screenwriting Competition as well as THE CONFESSION DIY: THE RISE AND FALL AND RISE OF PUNK NIGHT IN WEST TEXAS A PORTRAIT OF A POSTMAN and WILLIE NELSON PRESENTS: KING OF THE ROADIES. The festival will also feature a special music and film panel with Abraham Alexander nominated for an Academy Award® for Best Original Song for SING SING which screened at DIFF in 2024.
