The city’s weirdest weekend of comedy is set to hit the stage again this April! DALLAS INDIE COMEDY FEST is a celebration of comedy, creativity, and community, with a full weekend of social events, workshops, and live indie comedy by some of the best established and emerging artists from DFW and all across the nation. Showcasing Sketch, Improv, Clown, and Alt Comedy, DICF embraces the wild and weird, bringing unique comedy voices into the festival spotlight.
The Second Annual Dallas Indie Comedy Fest returns this spring, April 9-12th, with 25 original comedy acts and more than 100 performers from Dallas, Chicago, Nashville, LA, and everywhere in between.

Character--> Fastball Bob (Brian Craig, Philadelphia, PA): “Fastball Pitcher” Bob Gutierrez, a former middle-relief pitcher for the ‘80s Chicago Cubs turned motivational speaker, attempts to reinvent himself as a (motivational) country singer. Fastball Bob brings his message of “you can probably do it, if you set the bar low” through ham-fisted baseball metaphors in the form of original country songs.
Improv--> Black Tie Casual (Dallas, TX): Every child has a dream. Every adult has bills to pay. Black Tie Casual wants to meet you somewhere in the middle! Join us for a fun and fast-paced long form improv show based on the career aspirations of you, the audience! Starring Anna Walker, Dan States, Dan Sybert, Fritz, Francis, Hollis Beck, Ryan Vicksell, Sabrina Lichtenstein, and Tyler Stup.
Improv--> Basement Family (St. Louis, MO): Tiptoe down the tattered staircase as you descend into the loving home of the BASEMENT FAMILY - the bizarro-world Full House of your dreams and nightmares. Consistently silly and rarely creepy, you can count on BASEMENT FAMILY to find the fun. Starring Cara Lawlor, Chris Portie, Slobe, Tara Onay, and Tommy Iborg.
Sketch Comedy--> Big Ol' Mess (Denver, CO): Big Ol' Mess is a sketch comedy group from Denver, CO. They have performed in numerous festivals across North America, including Montreal Sketchfest (where they were selected for the Best of the Fest showcase), Austin Sketch Fest, Philly Sketchfest, Portland Sketch Comedy Festival (3x), DC Sketchfest, Denver Sketch Festival (2x), and the RISE Comedy Festival.
Outside of festivals, Big Ol’ Mess has performed in numerous sold-out shows in Denver, as well as two shows at the BCC – Eris Mainstage. They have also performed in both the 2024 and 2025 Cam Wyllie Sketch Comedy Invitationals. In 2025, they were the $10,000 Grand Prize winners of the Cam Wyllie Sketch Comedy Invitational. Starring Connor Schuck, Dan Burger, and Katie Congrove.
