Meet The Speakers
Amanda Schnetzer is co-founder and CEO of FirstThen, a mission and market-driven digital health startup that seeks to transform the treatment landscape for pediatric Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). FirstThen is the recipient of a Phase I Small Business Innovation Research award from the National Science Foundation and was a participant in the MassChallenge 2022 U.S. Early Stage Accelerator. As CEO of FirstThen, Amanda is channeling more than 25 years of strategic and operations leadership in the social impact arena, as well as her experience as the mom of a child with ADHD. Most recently, Amanda was Fellow and Director of Global Initiatives at the George W. Bush Institute, where she worked with the former President and First Lady to help realize their vision for a results-focused “do tank.” She holds degrees from Georgetown University and Southern Methodist University.
Kat was able to scale and sell her first company she started out of her college dorm room. After winning 22 of 23 pitches she entered, she founded Power To Pitch to help founders build a winning pitch, deck & fundraising strategy to help them get funded faster. To date, Power To Pitch has helped founders raise over $22 million in grants and venture capital, and counting!
