Our Dallas Theater Community Is UNITING to better get to know its artists.Echo Theatre has invited area theaters to join them at the Bath House Cultural Center stage for Combined General Auditions. Only theater companies who pay their artists will attend. Inspired by auditions at Plague Mask Players, we’re giving you the option to come WITHOUT your monologue memorized.
Bring a 60-second monologue you feel confident performing. If you choose, you can be “on book” when you deliver your monologue. When you are done, you will be given some direction, and asked to try an adjustment to all, or part of the monologue.
We realize we will not see your entire range in 60 seconds, but we will see YOU. Come as you are and meet the companies who want to get to know you.
Please Know: We invite ALL actors in our community to audition. For example, this season Echo Theatre is looking to cast creatives who are non-binary, trans, actors with physical differences, AAPI, Latine, and BIPOC actors.
