The Embassy of Iceland has the pleasure of inviting you to the opening of the exhibition A Space Between States by Dögg & Dýpi at 3Daysofdesign, facilitated by Iceland Design and Architecture, producer of DesignMarch, the annual Icelandic design festival and with the support of Business Iceland.
A Space Between States presents works by designer Dögg Guðmundsdóttir in dialogue with Dýpi’s ocean paint, created from calcareous algae harvested in Arnarfjörður, Iceland. The exhibition explores transformation, time, and the emotional language of design.
Made from reused materials and shaped by symbolic and personal narratives, the works move between the practical and the poetic. Together, the exhibition forms a quiet reflection on contemporary Icelandic design – rooted in nature, memory, and the objects that accompany us through life.
The event is a part of the 3daysofdesign festival taking place June 10th - 12th in Copenhagen.
