Slow Food Galway in conjunction with Diarmuid Ó Mathúna, will host a bilingual food demonstration, at Pota Cafe, exploring the rich and enduring role of food in our culture. Using local ingredients, we will highlight how food connects us to the land, to our ancestors, and to one another. This event aims to deepen appreciation for the tastes, techniques, and traditions that have been passed down through generations, fostering a living connection to Irish heritage. The demonstration will promote cultural understanding, and the preservation of both language and food traditions.
