About this Event
Cyber incidents affect entire organisations, not just IT teams. When something goes wrong, it impacts day to day work, customers, operations, and decision making across the business.
This free workshop is open to business owners, managers, employees, and anyone involved in the day to day of a business. You do not need a technical background or experience in cybersecurity to attend.
The session is designed to help attendees understand:
- what cyber risk looks like in real organisations
- why responsibility does not sit with IT alone
- how outsourced IT and suppliers fit into accountability
- what organisations are expected to have in place if something goes wrong
- how individual actions can reduce risk at work
The workshop focuses on awareness, understanding, and practical thinking rather than technical detail or tools. It is suitable for people across all roles, including operations, administration, finance, customer facing teams, and leadership.
The session will be delivered by SCCYBER and will include time for questions and open discussion.
