The Centre for Youth Bipolar Disorder (CYBD) hosts it's 5th annual World Bipolar Day Research Symposium at CAMH on March 26, 2026.
About this Event

This hybrid symposium will bring together Canadian and international researchers, trainees, clinicians, and mental health professionals* to take part in presentations and discussions on current research in bipolar disorder, youth mental health, and brain-body connections. This year’s theme is Energizing Bipolar Disorder Research: Integrating Brain, Biology, and Behavior, and we are challenging presenters to address themes related to energy, motivation, and mitochondrial health. A wide variety of topics will be explored, including treatment, neuroimaging, biomarkers, and clinical characteristics.

*Note: Youth, families, and other community members are invited to register for our World Bipolar Day public education event in the evening: https://cybdwbd2026.eventbrite.ca
