About this Event
Welcome to Cyanotypes at The Love Shack Art Club!
Join us for an afternoon of relaxation and creativity at Shakespeare's Head, hosted by Amy Isles Freeman. You will learn the process of cyanotype, an early form of photography from the 1840s (more information on the history of cyanotypes here). Using a collection of natural forms, alongside hand drawn typography, you will create a selection of unique blue prints for you to take home with you.
Amy Isles Freeman is an artist and educator whose focus is to cultivate and encourage genuine creativity from all she teaches.
This process is accessible and requires no prior knowlege or skill, just a curiosity for plants and image making. Everyone will leave with something they are proud of.
This workshops will take place at Shakespeare's Head, a wonderful and vibrant pub near Brighton Station. Relaxed and cosy with great pints and even better sausages, Shakespeare's Head is the perfect spot for a creative afternoon.
Bring your pals, your partners, your parents, or get a group together from work, and get arty.
