The Exploding Typewriter
After seven incredible sold out shows, The Exploding Typewriter has settled in to its home at the wonderful Folklore Rooms. A beautiful , intimate club in the heart of Brighton.

A joyous and moving evening with Poet Niall Hollaert, including collaborations with harpist Sekinue, and musical performanc from Roman Joon (aka Michael Baker)

In 2021, Niall published his first volume of poetry - ‘ This moment hangs in stolen air’
He went on to win awards , and be featured on radio, as well as securing a studio in the Artists Quarter, ( Poet Gallery ) on Brighton seafront, where he writes, creates, and sells prints of his work as well as performing and running workshops.
Visit him there on weekends , to talk poetry and art , and see his work.

Brighton based Indie Folk artist Roman Joon (Michael Baker's ) music has been compared to the likes of The Villagers, Sufjan Stevens and Bon Iver.
He has played at Glastonbury Festival and been played on BBC Introducing London and by Tom Robinson on Radio 6

Sekinue:
Harpist , singer and songwriter . Sekinue brings beautiful textures to Niall's poetry with their stunning harp playing, and performs wonderfully evocative songs of their own .
