Learn to expose your favorite plant silhouette onto cotton fabrics. This class will teach you the basics in coating fabric, drying it, exposing, rinsing, and washing. When it come to coating cyanotype on fabric there are different nuances that are inherently different to your typical paper coating process. We will experiment with a few basic tried and true techniques and show you how to accomplish the deepest Prussian blues. The fabric artworks, once dry, can be used in a variety of projects such as: quilt squares, patches, garment making, wall hangings, and much more. Students will provide $20 to instructor for fabric supplied. All Levels. 1 Session.
