It's Family Art Workshop with Angels Gate Cultural Center!
Angels Gate offers monthly free art workshops. All are welcome. Art activities for kids and adults, ages 1 to 101!

Angels Gate ofrece mensualmente talleres de arte gratuitos. Todos son bienvenidos. Actividades artísticas para niños y adultos, ¡de 1 a 101 años!
This cyanotype workshop introduces participants to a historic photographic printing process that uses light-sensitive, non-toxic chemicals to create vivid blue images. Attendees learn how to arrange objects or negatives, and use sunlight exposure to develop their prints. The workshop emphasizes hands-on experimentation, creativity, and an accessible approach to alternative photography. Participants are welcome to bring their own object, natural or human-made, to use in the sun printing activity. Objects that lie flat are best to create a cast shadow and shapes.
Este taller de cianotipia presenta a los participantes un proceso histórico de impresión fotográfica que utiliza productos químicos fotosensibles y no tóxicos para crear imágenes de un azul intenso. Los asistentes aprenden a disponer objetos o negativos y a utilizar la exposición a la luz solar para revelar sus copias. El taller hace hincapié en la experimentación práctica, la creatividad y un enfoque accesible a la fotografía alternativa. Los participantes pueden traer su propio objeto, ya sea natural o artificial, para utilizarlo en la actividad de impresión solar. Los objetos que se colocan en posición horizontal son los más adecuados para crear sombras y formas.

Meet your teacher in Building A's Gallery and we will walk over to our classroom in Building G.

All materials are provided. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Pets are not allowed inside our galleries or classrooms.
