Join the Commonwealth War Graves Commission for a tour of Edinburgh (Morningside) Cemetery and learn about our work and the people commemorated in this cemetery, led by one of our experienced volunteer tour guides.

MEETING POINT is at the cemetery entrance on Morningside Drive.
Join us and hear about the work of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and stories of some of the men and women that are commemorated in this Cemetery.
Morningside Cemetery includes both CWGC and family memorials for servicemen and civilians killed during both World Wars. This includes memorials to female service personel who died during their military service.
The tours last approx. 60 mins and covers about 2000 meters on paths and grass with uneven ground with slopes.
There is parking available nearby. There are no on site facilities or toilets available. Please bring water if required.
Please dress for the weather and wear suitable footwear.
Well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome.
Please note there can be last minute cancellations. This can be due to various reasons including illness, site issues and weather. We will email you as soon as we can but this could include the morning of the tour, so please check your emails prior to leaving for the tour.
