My mom and I recently took a candle-making class with Demetrius & Quanda, and it was hands-down one of the most enjoyable and memorable experiences we’ve had together.
From the moment we arrived, they made everyone feel welcome, comfortable, and excited to create. Their energy is genuine, and you can immediately tell they care deeply about both their craft and the people in the room. This isn’t just a class — it’s something they’ve poured heart into.
They walked us through the entire candle-making process step by step, explaining not just what to do, but why we were doing it. Everything was detailed, organized, and easy to follow. No rushing, no confusion — just clear instruction and real support.
What really impressed me was how intentional they were about helping us create something unique. They gave thoughtful suggestions about scent combinations and explained how different fragrances balance each other. I ended up blending Lemongrass & Lime, Teakwood, and Falling Leaves — and somehow it turned into the most incredible scent. Fresh, warm, slightly woodsy, and perfectly balanced. I never would have thought to combine those on my own, but with their guidance, it turned out amazing.
The relaxed brewery setting made it even better. It didn’t feel stiff or overly structured — it felt fun, social, creative, and memorable. The kind of experience you talk about afterward and immediately start recommending to friends.

This was a great class. The instructors were very knowledgeable and provided a good amount of information in a fun and enjoyable way. I highly recommend.
