Come to the Dawes House for coffee, lunch, and informal conversation around an Evanston History topic on the second Wednesday of every month.March’s Topic: “Evanston Women and The Fragile Nature of Legal Victories” with Lori Osborne, former director of Evanston Women's History Project. We’ll look at the story of Catharine Waugh McCulloch and how she and others in Evanston who fought for women’s right to vote never took legal victories as guaranteed.
