About this Event

Our Autumn Research Update Meeting 2024 will be taking place once again at the renowned Royal Society of Medicine (RSM), Wimpole Street, London on 27 November, where guests are invited to listen to updates on our funded research.

Theme: Taking part in Parkinson's research

Participation in research is vital for the advancement and development of new treatments for Parkinson's. There are many benefits for participants as well, including making it possible to learn more about your condition, receive more structured care, and connect with a larger community. Participation does not necessarily have to be in a clinical trial, however; individuals can actively shape upcoming and ongoing research through initiatives such as advisory panels, focus groups, and surveys too.

Please join us on 27 November to hear progress updates from Parkinson’s researchers and people living with Parkinson’s whose work and participation is actively informing investigations into potentially disease-modifying treatments for Parkinson’s. Attendance is free, and is available both online and in-person on a first come, first served basis.
