About this Event

Curbside Outreach at The Door Is Open is a monthly initiative that brings together the CCC/SMC college community with persons living in Vancouver's Downtown EastSide. We prepare food and drinks at the Door is Open and serve it to people in need. If you are a student, staff, or faculty member of Corpus Christi College or St. Mark's College, we invite you to sign up and join this community service event organized by the Campus Life and Ministry Office. Space is limited and prioritized for the college community members (students, staff, faculty, and alumni) then to the UBC community.

Afternoon Service T imeline:

  • 2:30pm - Meet at the Door is Open, food and drink preparation begins
  • 4 :30pm - Food and drinks served
  • 5 :30pm - Clean up begins
  • 6 :00pm - Event ends

All participants are expected to arrive/depart at the Door is Open on their own. All participants must sign a waiver form prior to participating. Forms are available in room 219 or in Plato's Cave (student lounge).

Instructions and supplies will be provided on site.

If you have any questions, please contact Gerard Garcia at the Campus Life and Ministry Office at [email protected] or by phone at 604-822-6862 ex. 125.
