About this Event
Join Curator Amy Miller for a free talk exploring our 2026 exhibition showcasing Burgh House’s permanent collections. We will look at the story of Hampstead over time: of landscapes and buildings altered or no longer present. Whilst Hampstead expanded with the growth of the railways, the damage of the Second World War (1939-1945) irrevocably altered streets and local landmarks. We will consider how these changes transformed Hampstead. This talk will take place in the Wade Room.
Talk begins: 1.30pm
Please note: Although this is a free talk, booking is necessary as numbers are limited. We kindly ask that if you have booked and are unable to come, you get in touch with us at [email protected].
