About this Event
Welcome to Curating History for Home Eds. This weeks sessions are all about the Victorian pacifist and human rights campaigner Emily Hobhouse.
What you'll learn:
Who was Emily Hobshouse and where she was born
What Emily did
How Emily set the groundworks for human rights
After seeing a short presentation on Emily we'll have a go at one of her favourite hobbies; scrapbooking.
You'll also get a word search and a fact file from the session to take home with you.
We will have a break during the session where you can go explore the museum, use the facilities and we also provide squash and biscuits.
Who's running this weeks session?
This weeks session is being run by Lizzie our earning volunteer and Hollie our digitisation volunteer (who happens to know a fair amount about Emily!)
