All welcome to celebrate the first harvest festival of the year: Lughnasadh.
About this Event
Join us to share, swap and eat bread from around the world in our celebration of the wheat harvest festival known as Lughnasadh (or Lammas)!
We are so excited to see what different breads people will bring and we want to encourage all types of bread. Bao, Foccacia, Pretzels, Lacmacun, Sourdough Doughnuts, Pitta Bread, Naan, Roti, Granary, Brioche, Simit, Bagels, Soda bread, Cheese Scones, Baguettes, Buns... the list is endless.
We are especially interested to discover breads that are wheat, yeast and dairy free!
If interested in participating in the bready swaps, please consider making smaller-sized items (or dividing breads) for easier handling.
We also hope to have some bread making demos from some of our community bakers!
Culture Club is a monthly event that involves food, crafts, and arts and are themed around seasonality and culture.
They are FREE to attend for who live in Stoke and Morice Town.
Donations are welcome from other visitors.
