About this Event
Crocheting cables is easier than you think! If you have any familiarity with crochet post stitches, you can crochet cables. In this class, Dana Nield from FaveCrafts.com will teach you how to crochet three foundational stitches in order to get that lovely, heirloom look for your blankets and other crochet projects. You’ll learn how to half double crochet, front post treble crochet, and how to work your front post treble crochets out of order to create twisted stitches. Beginners are welcome, although participants with some basic crochet experience may benefit more. Once you learn how to crochet cables, you’ll have the skills ready to make your own cabled blanket or other project.
Materials needed for class:
1 skein of worsted weight yarn (weight 4 medium) in a medium solid color (not too light or too dark)
Size I/9 5.5mm crochet hook
